Reflection 1: Digital Love—Remembering 2000s Tech
MP3 players, digital cameras, smart phones: all of these were once among the 2000's most cutting edge tech. Though much of it now seems quaint, maybe even primitive today, the era laid the foundation for much of the technology we interact with today. From cryptocurrencies to AI, most of today’s tech would not have been possible had it not been for the 2000s. For this reflection, examine the ways in which that decade’s technology helped usher the technological advancements of the 2020s. What do we owe to the gadgets of that era? And finally, does any 2000s technology intrigue you today?
